What's in the new app?

The jazz guitar app will help all guitarists to understand jazz harmony, modes and arpeggios. It is aimed at intermediate to advanced players who are hungry for new skills and concepts. If you're a fan of players such as Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Kenny Burrell or John Scofield, you're bound to find some great material and concepts that will push your playing forward. You can learn how to extend chord shapes for solo guitar and 'comping' as well as extend your melodic playing with numerous phrases, altered scales and lines.
The lessons are clear, with fully notated and tabbed examples, to assist learning. Its all backed up with backing tracks, played by real instruments, to give the player a chance to develop their skills. This will give any guitarist potential to transform their playing.

Adrain Utley's Guitar Orchestra
This is a new project put together by Adrian Utley (Portishead). The gig shown above is a performance of Terry Riley's piece, "in C" part of a festival in Krakow, Poland on September 14th, 2013. We also played in Birmingham in November and Lisbon in December last year. Its an amazing project and is full of great players, with keys, bass clarinet and up to 20 guitars. Check it out when you can. Our recording from the last performance at St George's Brandon Hill, Bristol is on release from Invada Records, Bristol.
